A mid-afternoon thunderstorm yesterday in the Dublin area has delayed completion of the work on Runway 6-24 at the New River Valley Airport (KPSK). The new planned re-opening of Runway 6-24 is now scheduled for noon on Sunday, August 8th.

The New River Valley Airport (KPSK) is located in Pulaski County Virginia. The airport's 6,201' x 150' runway features a precision ILS approach and non-precision instrument approach's to both runway ends. The airport also has U.S. Customs on-site and fueling and aicraft handling needs for a wide variety of aircraft.
